Frequently Asked Questions

What if I only need a short-term lease next fall? Can I still join the waitlist?

Yep! Kenect allows an allotment of apartments to be leased on a semester lease. An additional monthly premium is added for a short-term lease. Lease early, as this always sells out for students going abroad for their Spring semester.

How much notice will I get when my unit opens?

We’ll let you know when your preferred layout is available so you can plan ahead. We assign apartments 60-90 days before move-in, typically during June for fall move-in.

Can I tour before committing?

Absolutely. We offer virtual and in-person tours to see the space before signing. Book a tour online. We ask you to book a Saturday group tour for groups, as our lean teams serve many prospects.

Is there a cost to join the waitlist?

Yes, to be approved for the waitlist, you’ll submit:
• $50 application fee per person
• $250 admin fee
• $250 refundable security deposit
This averages around $5, plus the leasing paperwork to get locked in on the waitlist.

What if I change my mind or want to update my info?

Once you sign your waitlist lease and submit fees, we do not cancel leases for the fall. You will need to find a replacement.

Your application and admin fees will be forfeited, but your security deposit will be refunded. Do not sign a waitlist lease until you are 100% committed to following through. You can contact a team member as a prospect and sign when the timing is right for you.
